Supported NDT Methods

The product, specimen or service can support the following NDT methods where technically applicable. Final suitability is confirmed against the material, geometry, target condition and intended equipment configuration.

1.  UT, PAUT, TOFD and other ultrasonic methods.

2.  ECT/ECA, RFET/RFT, NFT, PEC and other electromagnetic methods.

3.  MT, PT and VT/RVI.

4.  MFL, ACFM, IRIS and other project-specific methods where applicable.

Applicable Codes, Standards and References

The work may be designed, manufactured or performed with reference to the following, as applicable to the agreed scope:

1.  Customer-approved drawings and procedures.

2.  Applicable ASME, ASTM, API, AWS, ISO, EN or BS references where relevant.

3.  ASNT, ISO 9712, NAS 410 or EN 4179 training/qualification requirements where applicable.

4.  Asset-owner, OEM and project specifications.

The customer should identify the exact document, edition and revision. Reference to a standard does not by itself constitute certification, accreditation or approval by the issuing body.

Project Workflow

1.  Requirement Review: Review the application, method, component, material, geometry, equipment and intended use.

2.  Technical Definition: Confirm drawings, dimensions, flaw or reflector schedule, tolerances, access and documentation requirements.

3.  Design Approval: Issue the proposed technical basis or layout for customer review where custom manufacture is required.

4.  Manufacturing or Service Execution: Complete fabrication, machining, flaw introduction, marking, inspection or preparation under controlled instructions.

5.  Verification: Check agreed dimensions, identification, reflector locations and relevant NDT responses using suitable methods.

6.  Documentation and Delivery: Compile agreed records, protect the items and arrange domestic or international dispatch.

4.  Achievable tolerances and flaw manufacture depend on material, geometry and access.

5.  Final suitability remains subject to the customer's procedure and acceptance requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can every item be supplied on the same day?

No. Same-day or immediate dispatch is possible only for suitable items already available and cleared for release. Custom manufacture requires technical review and production time.

Can you expedite custom machining?

Yes, where machine capacity, material availability, geometry and verification requirements allow an expedited route.

Will quality checks be skipped for urgent orders?

No. Agreed identification, dimensional and verification checks are completed before dispatch even when the schedule is urgent.

Can urgent international shipments be arranged?

Yes, subject to packing, carrier availability, customs requirements and any applicable material or regulatory restrictions.

What information helps you quote quickly?

A drawing, material, method, reflector details, quantity, required date and delivery location allow the fastest technical and commercial review.
