The blocks offer an economical alternative to fabricating multiple curved calibration blocks (pipe sections) in numerous diameters and wall thicknesses. Overall block dimensions – 50mm wide x 57mm tall x 250mm long. Block design consists of steps simulating wall thicknesses measuring 12.5mm, 25mm, 38mm and 50mm. Each step contains a .25mm wide EDM notch, machined across the width of the step at a depth of 10% of wall thickness. Scanning surfaces and reflecting surfaces.
