Block has four (4) notches that are 0.012” wide and at depths of 0.010”, 0.020”, 0.040” and 0.060”.  These dimensions are stamped on the block.  Actual dimensions may vary +/-0.002”.

The block nominal dimensions are 0.25” T x 1” wide x 6” long

The block has a total of eight (8) shims attached to it by a stainless chain.

There are four (4) aluminum shims

(2) at 0.005” T

(1) at 0.015” T

The shim thickness range combination allows for 0.005” to 0.050” per material at 0.005” T intervals.  Additional shims can be added for more thickness.
