• Material: A36 or 1018 carbon steel

• Specifications: Total of 8 Welded Specimens:

• 2 Butt Welds w/ V Groove (1) at 9.5mm (T) and (1) 19mm (T)  X  150mm (L) X 300mm (W)

• 2 Butt Welds w/ V Groove w/ Backing Bar, (1) at 9.5mm (T) and (1)19mm(T)  X  150mm (L) X 300mm (W)

• 2 Tee Welds w/ Single Groove, (1) 9.5mm (T) & (1) 19mm (T) X 150mm (L) X 150mm Main X 170mm (Branch)

• 2 Tee Welds w/ Single Groove w/ Backing Bar, (1) 9.5mm (T) and (1) 19mm (T) X 150mm (L) X 150mm Main X 170mm Branch

• Flaws: Total of 20 (~2 – 3 per specimen) sub-surface and surface breaking flaws randomly placed throughout the volume of the weld.  The flaw sizes will vary from approximately +25mm to -12.5mm in length and +/- 6mm in height.

• Tolerance: +/- 2mm

• Weld Condition: Surface condition of the crown and root will be “as welded.”

• Documentation: Certificate of Conformance, “As Built” CAD, RT Inspection Film and Technique Sheet, RT Inspection Report and Measuring and Test Equipment Certificates
