• (1) 45° “Y” Connection- 19mm (T) x 300mm (Weld Length) x 100mm (Base) x 200mm (Branch)

• (1) 60° “Y” Connection.- 19mm (T) x 300mm (Weld Length) x 100mm (Base) x 200mm (Branch)

Specimen Detail:

• Each specimen contains 4 flaws/ 12 total

• APL Level “C” Criteria used for flaw design

• Accept/Reject based on API RP-2X, Fig. 45 & 48

• UT Specimens can be used for technician practice for offshore structures

• Flaw acceptability is not determined by ultrasonic
